Sweet.. Brussels

If you happen to be a chocolate lover, or you love waffles and have a sweet tooth in general then this is the destination for you, Brussels by all means! The city is worldwide well-known for its chocolate and waffles unique quality.

We took a stroll with our camera through the city streets and took a few shots of the various sweet shops windows, just to get you in the right mood and trigger your appetite!

We hope it’s enough to get you briefly acquainted with the truly special relationship that the people of Brussels share with chocolate and then make sure you choose as your next destination, to fully enjoy it in person!

Madame Chapeau - Brussels, Belgium

It is the statue of a theatrical role, the one of Amelie Van Beneden that the observer once examining closer will realize it is a statue of a man dressed up like an old woman. The role of Amelie Van Beneden was quite popular in the city of Brussels and this is the reason why it was decided to create the particular statue in order to emphasize the locals’ sense of humor. The statue, located in Rue du Midi 111 (1000 Brussels), is a creation of the artist Tom Frantzen.

A weekend spent outdoors?

Spending a weekend outdoors, by the sea or mountain, is not that easy to many of us! Some of us are born natural explorers; some others are good just at city breaks!
If you live in a larger city but wish to get to know nature, first rule to follow, show nature the respect it deserves!

Leave your laptop and mobile phone behind;   don’t cheat, same applies for your tablet!
Make sure you go outdoors in the right outfit and gear. Ask the area guides for the best suggestion of outfits and gear to bring along.
Don't over-pack!
Make sure you get all instructions and maps available.

Follow the group and the instructions of your guide, take advantage of his experience!

Enjoy your small adventure outdoors with joy and safety, following all provided precautions.
